RSUSD is closely monitoring the Salt Fire and its impact on local air quality to protect the health and well-being of our students and staff.

Superintendent Mr. Ruiz and District Health and Wellness Coordinator Mr. David Price are working closely with local emergency services and air quality agencies to receive real-time updates and guidance.

Precautionary measures—such as limiting outdoor activities and ensuring access to safe indoor spaces—are already in place.  Our staff is prepared to respond quickly as conditions evolve.

The safety, health, and peace of mind of our school community remain our highest priorities during this wildfire event.
